I’m Leah and I believe that a society that accepts reality is a society that can flourish. So, I am on a mission to lead positive change by embracing the one thing we’re often told to hide: vulnerability.
For a long time, my life was defined by silence and survival. From navigating a lifelong speech disorder and childhood homelessness to surviving domestic violence and the weight of single motherhood, I know what it feels like to be forgotten by the world. Still, I also know what it feels like to find your voice again and come out on the other side better than before.
I’ve spent years doing the "hard work" while taking steps towards a better life- becoming a certified stretch-therapist, completing Yoga Teacher Training, going back to college, and building a stable, safe life for my son and I. Though, I didn’t reach this place of peace alone, and you shouldn’t have to either.
Today, I use yoga and wellness not just as an escape, but as a bridge to a more empowered life. When I’m not teaching, you can find me creating a peaceful home for my son in Indianapolis—the same city where my journey began. Practicing yoga with my little one is a constant reminder that stability isn't just a place; it’s a mindset we cultivate together.
I have a question for you: Where can you step up for yourself or someone else today?
You don't have to have all the answers. You only need to be willing to learn. Let’s find your empowerment together.
