A Vinyasa yoga flow is a dynamic, breath-synchronized sequence of poses that is often faster than in other styles. It cultivates strength, flexibility, and mindfulness, creating a moving meditation.
Gentle yoga is an accessible form of Hatha yoga, suitable for all levels. focusing on slow, supported movements and mindful breathing to reduce stress and improve mobility. Blocks, blankets, and straps may be used during this practice.

Welcome to the Empowered Mindsets community! Whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or the thousandth, questions are a natural part of the journey. Below, you’ll find answers to the most common inquiries regarding our virtual sessions. If your question isn't covered here, please don't hesitate to reach out—I'm here to support your practice in any way I can.
How much "flow" experience do I need? While Vinyasa is dynamic, my classes are designed to be inclusive. We move with the breath, and I always provide modifications. If moving from the floor to standing is accessible for you, you can join a Vinyasa session!
Will I break a sweat? Likely! Because we synchronize movement with breath, Vinyasa builds internal heat. Have a towel and some water nearby to stay comfortable.
🌿 Gentle Yoga
Is "Gentle" the same as "Easy"? Gentle yoga focuses on range of motion and stress reduction rather than athletic intensity. It is "gentle" on the joints but "deep" in its ability to calm the nervous system and improve mobility.
I’m not flexible at all—can I still do this? Absolutely. Flexibility can be a result of yoga, but is not a prerequisite. Gentle yoga is the perfect place to start if you feel "stiff" or are recovering from a minor injury.
What if I don't have professional yoga props? No problem! While I mention bolsters and blocks, you can easily substitute them with items from around your house. Thick bed pillows, rolled-up bath towels, and sturdy books work beautifully.
Do we stay in one pose for a long time? Yes. We typically hold passive poses for 5–10 minutes. The goal isn't to "stretch" the muscle, but to allow the body to fully surrender to gravity and rest.
How do I prepare my space for a virtual class? Try to find a quiet corner where you can roll out your mat. Set your camera so I can see your full body (if you’re comfortable with that) so I can offer alignment cues.
What is the cancellation policy for private sessions? To respect the energy and scheduling of our community, please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to reschedule a private or semi-private session. You will receive a full refund if you cancel your session with at least 48 hours' notice.
